At Rossetts Commercials, we know that our industry runs on more than just vehicles - it runs on people. That’s why this Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May 2025), we’re proud to stand alongside the Mental Health Foundation to raise awareness and promote mental wellbeing across our teams, customers, and wider community.
The theme for this year is “Community”, highlighting the vital role that connection, belonging, and support play in maintaining good mental health. In the commercial vehicle and automotive sector, it’s easy to feel isolated, especially for van drivers and technicians who often spend long hours alone or under pressure.
Mental health affects everyone, and neglecting it can lead to serious long-term consequences. At Rossetts, we believe in building a culture where it's okay to talk, and where no one has to struggle in silence.
To support our team and create a safe, inclusive environment, we have trained Mental Health First Aiders across all our sites. They’re here to offer a listening ear, signpost to resources, and encourage open, judgment-free conversations about mental wellbeing.
We also proudly support Ben, the charity dedicated to supporting people in the automotive industry and their families. Ben offers a wide range of services, covering mental, physical, financial, and social wellbeing - helping people through life’s toughest challenges.
This week, we’re reminding everyone that strong communities, at work and beyond, help us thrive. Whether it’s checking in with a colleague, offering support, or simply being there for one another, every small action counts.
💚 Let’s break the stigma around mental health and keep building a workplace and industry that supports everyone’s wellbeing.
